EHS Consultant

WSP Shanghai Consulting Ltd. intends to hire more than one EHS Consultant in support of business expansion in Asia region. This position will be based in Shanghai office. The job duties include, but not limited to the following:

• Assist and perform EHS consulting services (i.e., Phase I and II ESAs, Site Investigation & Remediation, EHS Compliance Audits, Supplier EHS Audits, EHS regulatory update / newsletters, etc.) as required;

• Carry out site surveys and inspections;

• Coordinate with various parties to ensure projects running smoothly and delivering on time;

• Prepare professional consultancy reports or presentation;

• Involve in the preparation of proposals;

• Assist in liaison with members of the project team, clients and government departments;

• Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree or above in environmental engineering, geohydrology, chemical engineering, occupational safety or other EHS related disciplines, preferably with overseas education or working experience.

• Hands-on experience in the areas of pollution control, chemical management, environmental management, labor audits, etc.

• Self-motivated withstrong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work collaboratively with strong interpersonal and effective communication skills

• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese. Basic knowledge in other languages (i.e., Japanese, Korean, etc.) is a plus.

• Ability to travel in China and other countries in Asia.
